It's November!

Happy November, cat lovers! Get ready for a fun-filled month!

We'd like to bring a wild cat fact to your attention today. Did you know that there are less than 40 Amur leopards left in existance? That's about 30 Amur leopards left in existance. That is a very low number.

What can you do to help?

1. Raise awareness! Tell your friends and family about the needs of Amur leopards.
2. Adopt an Amur Leopard! Of course, we don't mean literally, but you can make a "symbolic adoption" by donating money to the WWF to help Amur Leopard conservation. To learn more, click here.

We've done it before, and we'll do it again--let's make a difference for the better!

September 30th was EverythingCat101's one-year anniversary! We're very proud to have been a successful site for over a year. :)

While we had some really good guesses (this was hard!) the person who came the closest chose to comment as anonymous. Here's what they wrote:

It's January: a new month with new stuff! Be sure to check out all the new things we've added for this month. For example, there's a new cat quiz. You can find this in the side column or in the "Cat Quizzes" tab. You can also take some of the old monthly quizzes under that tab, too. There is no limit to the number of times you take the quizzes so don't feel bad if you don't do so well the first time.There is also a new monthly poll. This is posted in the side column and also under the "Just for Fun" tab. Be sure to answer this poll!

As the holidays draw near, EverythingCat101 is going to start celebrating. We'll need lots of participation to really get this pulled off so please help us out!
Week by week throughout December we are going to do something different. For this week, (December 5th to December 12th) please vote in the holiday polls. You can find these at the very bottom of the page. We NEED this data to make the other activities as fun as possible, so please take a few minutes to complete those! We will also use a holiday theme in Monday Mews, and posts.
